Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Groundskeeper in Bluffdale, UT. You will maintain grounds, amenities, and building exteriors to maximize curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license; you’ll perform daily cleanup, unit prep, and safety-compliant tasks. You’ll join a team that values excellent service, timely maintenance, and professional conduct, with on-call weekends and a compensation structure described in the listing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance is required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to use general office equipment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.
• Must comply with all safety requirements.
• Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment.
• Ability to shovel snow, apply ice melt and operate a commercial snow blower.
• Passionate for meticulous curb appeal.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and other debris from office areas and property perimeter on a daily basis.
• Assist in the preparation of market ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
• Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal and/or other inclement weather emergencies, fires, and floods.
• Clean available apartments and/or model homes and common areas of the community, as directed.
• Address property maintenance concerns related to inclement weather conditions.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents always.
• Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality.
• Foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, other properties and associated agencies.
• Clearly and immediately report any maintenance and/or life safety issues identified while performing regular assigned duties.
