Job summary

The Glenwood Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Grounds Keeper to maintain an aesthetically pleasing outdoor space around the campus and ensure safe, functional walkways and parking areas.

Responsibilities include lawn care, edging, trimming, debris removal, power washing, hedge trimming, plant care, and operating landscaping equipment while adhering to safety guidelines and hospital policies. This role is on-site at the medical center.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.

• Picking up trash from hospital grounds including the dumpster area
• Emptying outside trash cans

• Watering plants
• Maintaining lawns including planting, fertilizing, soil conditions, mulching, and applying pesticides
• Operating and maintaining garden and landscaping equipment
• Painting curbs and parking lot stripes as assigned
• Other maintenance duties that may be assigned
