Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a facilities/groundskeeping team member for an Ameristar Casino Resort Spa property. You will perform outdoor cleaning, grounds maintenance, and general upkeep of exterior areas to ensure safe and attractive premises.

Ideal candidates possess facilities maintenance or landscaping experience, strong problem‑solving and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance or groundskeeping.
• Ability to perform outdoor cleaning and maintenance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Pressure washes outside of casino, decks, entrances and adjacent areas.
• Clean ground and remove litter; remove trash from parking lot.
• Spread salt on public passageways to prevent ice buildup.
• Water lawn and shrubs; trim plants as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of outside smoking area; keep parking lots sanitary.
• Make minor repairs on equipment (lawn mower, spreader, snow removal).
• This is a uniformed position with appearance standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Clean ground and remove litter.
• Remove all trash from parking lot as needed.
• Spread salt on public passageways to prevent ice buildup.
• Water lawn and shrubs; trim plants as needed.
• Clean out drainage, ditches, and culverts.
• Maintain cleanliness of outside smoking area
• Maintain parking lots and adjacent areas in a sanitary manner.
• Make minor repairs on equipment such as lawn mower, spreader, and snow removal equipment.
• This is a uniformed position, which requires that Team Member’s are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
