Job summary

Hollywood Casino York is seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented janitorial teammate to keep our facilities clean and welcoming for guests and team members.

You’ll perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, taking out trash, responding to spills, and maintaining a safe, tidy work area. The role requires reading, writing and basic English, plus the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk most of the shift.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and vacuum carpets and floors.
• Mops floors.
• Dusts and polishes fixtures, furniture and flooring.
• Clean windows and doors.
• Wash and wipe down of stairwells, base boards, walls, waste cans and other items as assigned.
• Remove trash cans and debris.
• Prompt attention to cleaning up spills or accidents or debris.
• Conducts all guest and staff interactions in a pleasant and helpful manner.

• Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from employees and guests.
• Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.).
• Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
