Job Summary

We’re looking for a skilled Groundskeeper I to keep our landscapes thriving year‑round. Pay range: $17.75 – $18.37 per hour, subject to experience and internal equity. Full‑time position.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual groundskeeping tasks across assigned areas, including mowing, edging, aerating, seeding, and fertilizing lawns and green spaces.
• Prune shrubs, trim trees, weed flower beds, mulch, and prepare soil for planting.
• Clean and maintain paths, walkways, and stairways.
• Operate lawnmowers, blowers, edgers, and other landscaping equipment, as well as trucks, trailers, and electric carts safely.
• Identify and address basic safety issues; assist in the repair of irrigation systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work using digital tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of landscape experience.
• Read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
• Valid California driver’s license.
• Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement.
• Ability to operate trucks, trailers, and electric carts safely.

Physical Requirements

• Endurance to walk, stand, bend, crouch, or stoop continuously; lift or carry 50 pounds or less.
• Use of hands and fingers to grasp tools and operate equipment.
• Operate in outdoor environments with exposure to weather, traffic, noise, chemicals, and fumes.
