Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) in Rootstown Township, OH is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain campus grounds, mow and trim turf, remove snow, and manage landscaping around facilities.
You will operate the campus greenhouse, care for plants, and help enhance outdoor spaces. A high school diploma and an Ohio driver's license are required; starting pay is $13.98–$15.60 per hour and varies with experience.
Perform all grounds maintenance functions including mowing, trimming, snow removal, campus greenhouse operations, maintenance of trees, shrubs and flowers and policing for trash and debris removal.

Must be able to utilize applicable tools and equipment necessary for the job, as well as other office equipment. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, sit; talk; and hear. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
Routine exposure to heat, cold, moisture/wetness, inclement weather, noise, air pollution and heights. May involve exposure to chemical substances, hazards and moving parts of machinery. Work schedule is subject to change in accordance with the University's needs and/or the result of weather demands. Call-ins may be mandatory based on University needs.
