Job summary

The Liberty Group is seeking dependable Apartment Community Porters / Groundskeepers to maintain clean and safe communities. The role offers a pay rate of $20 to $21 per hour, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities include picking up trash, assisting with property clean-up, power washing, and supporting the maintenance team. Candidates must have at least 6 months of relevant experience and must meet specific physical requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of general labor, porter, or groundskeeping experience.
• Valid government-issued ID required.
• Must safely lift 50 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Pick up trash and debris around the property.
• Assist with trash-outs and general property clean-up.
• Power wash sidewalks, breezeways, and exterior areas.
• Replace light bulbs, switch plates, and A/C filters as needed.
• Check smoke alarms and replace batteries as directed.
• Support maintenance/office teams with day-to-day community upkeep.

Pay ranges from $20 to $21 per hour, depending on experience.

What you’ll do

Preferred (not required)

• Pool cleaning experience and familiarity with pool chemicals
• Apartment community porter/grounds experience
• Experience in related fields (hotel maintenance, rehab, condo, carpentry) if you also have general labor experience
