Job summary

El Conquistador Golf Club in Oro Valley, AZ is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper to join our course maintenance team and support turf and landscape operations.

You will mow, irrigate, and maintain the grounds, implement spray programs, and help with seeding, fertilizing, and general restoration. This role provides growth opportunities within golf club operations.

Qualifications

• Design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course.
• Experience with operating greens and fairway mowers preferred.
• Create spray programs for greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and landscaping.
• Operate all course maintenance tools and equipment.
• Ability to give oral and written instructions.
• Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and ground prep for restoration.
• Must be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized works areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
• Mows greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, tees, and other areas.
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas.
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as needed.
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways.
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds.
• Applies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to the golf course.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.

Summary:

The Groundskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Must possess the ability design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course
