Job summary

Encanto Golf Course in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a full-time Greenskeeper to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property. As part of Troon, you will support golf course maintenance and landscape improvements.

Responsibilities include mowing greens, irrigation maintenance, soil preparation, seeding, applying pesticides and fertilizers, and maintaining clean work areas. DOE compensation starts at $16.50 per hour with eligible healthcare and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be highly organized, efficient and detail oriented.
• Must possess the ability to design, coordinate and maintain landscaping on the golf course.
• Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course maintenance.
• Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation.
• Must be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas.
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water.
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessary; grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways.
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds.
• Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Compensation:

$16.50/DOE
