Job Description

• Manage the care of the flower beds and landscaping and report anything out of the ordinary to Supervisor.
• Maintain the grounds to be free of trash and debris.
• Be able to work independently when required.
• Have at least a minimal comprehension of plant/tree ID.
• Be knowledgeable in the proper use and care of general landscape equipment.
• Keep lawns mowed, sidewalks and curbs edged, and curbs and corners swept.
• Maintain all mowing, plowing equipment, gas‑powered equipment, and hand tools in a clean operating order.
• Maintain hospital owned trucks in a clean and professional manner.
• Complete work orders as received.
• Clean work area at the end of the day.
• Inspect and report any damage to summer and winter equipment.
• Leaf removal.
• Snow removal in the winter months.
• Complete WebEd courses and other required education.
• LMHS is accredited by DNV and TJC, and may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.
