Overview

The Groundskeeper plays a key role in maintaining the beauty, cleanliness, and safety of the hotel’s outdoor areas. This position ensures that guests experience a welcoming and well‑kept environment throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain all hotel landscaping, including lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, and flower beds.
• Perform routine grounds maintenance such as mowing, edging, trimming, watering, pruning, fertilizing, and weed control.
• Keep walkways, patios, parking areas, and outdoor common spaces clean and free of debris.
• Monitor irrigation systems and perform basic repairs or report issues to maintenance teams.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow/ice removal, and planting seasonal flowers.
• Inspect outdoor areas regularly for safety hazards and correct or report concerns.
• Maintain outdoor equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
• Support special event setup or outdoor décor when required.
• Follow all safety protocols and hotel standards while performing daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or similar maintenance roles preferred.
• Basic knowledge of lawncare, horticulture, and grounds equipment operation.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and a guest‑service mindset.
• Primarily outdoors, with frequent physical activity.
• May require early mornings, weekends, or holidays.
