Job summary

Warm Hearth Village is seeking a dedicated Grounds Worker to maintain and improve our Village-wide grounds. This full-time role involves planting, trimming, mulching, weeding, snow removal, and operating grounds equipment such as mowers, weed eaters, trimmers, chainsaws, and pressure washers.

The position runs 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday, with possible overtime during winter weather. Valid driver’s license and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• One year of groundskeeping experience, preferably in an apartment, townhome, or retirement community.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upkeep grounds Village-wide, including planting, trimming, mulching, and snow removal.
• Operate mowers, weed eaters, trimmer, chainsaw, pressure washer, and related tools.
• Support team with grounds maintenance tasks and safety compliance.

Come be the spark at Warm Hearth! We're looking for a dedicated Grounds Worker. This position will be part of a team responsible for the upkeep of the grounds Village-wide. Previous experience in planting, trimming, mulching, weeding, and snow removal will be helpful, as will knowledge of using mowers, weed eaters, trimmer, chainsaw, pressure washer, and all grounds-related hand tools.

This is a FT position with an expected schedule of 7:00am – 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Some overtime will be required contingent of winter weather. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be able to walk at least 2 hours per day. Lifting and moving up to 50lbs.

Valid Drivers License and Background check required.

Expected pay rate is competitive. We also offer a robust benefits package. FT employees earn four weeks of PTO per year and have access to 5 days (40 hours) of PTO upon hire.
