University of North Florida Alumni Association is seeking a grounds maintenance worker to perform turf, landscape, and irrigation upkeep on campus, assist with litter control, and help set up for special events. Specific duties will be directed by the supervisor.
Responsibilities include mowing, weed eating, edging surfaces, plant bed maintenance, and basic equipment/shop upkeep as part of a small facilities team.

$16.00 to Negotiable Hourly
This is work performing grounds maintenance and landscape installation duties, including but not restricted to maintenance of turf, landscape, and irrigation; litter control; and set up for special events. Specific duties will be determined by the supervisor.
This position is designated as a Tier 2 respondent for designated campus emergencies and events. In the event of a declared campus emergency, the position incumbent will make every effort to return to campus when directed.
Close supervision. The incumbent’s work is reviewed by the supervisor for accuracy and to ensure instructions are being followed.
Completion of ninth (9th) grade or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Some positions may require possession of a classified driver’s license appropriate to a type of vehicle operated.
This position requires a background check. In conjunction with the University’s policy, this position may also require a credit check.
The holder of this position is designated as a “Responsible Employee” pursuant to their role under Title IX. Therefore, the incumbent must promptly report allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse by or against any student, employee, contractor, or visitor to the University’s Title IX Administrator or any divisional Title IX Coordinator
