Job summary

Capital Vacations in Islamorada, FL is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain resort grounds and provide a safe, clean environment for guests and Owners. You will care for landscaping, lawns, trees, shrubs, and irrigation while using hand tools efficiently.

Responsibilities include trimming, mowing, planting, trash removal, and basic irrigation repairs. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year of groundskeeping experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to

Responsibilities

• Maintains the landscaping of the resort including lawns, trees, shrubs, and turf.
• Operates and maintains hand tools efficiently and assists with basic irrigation repairs.
• Keeps grounds clean, removes trash, and performs light maintenance tasks as needed.

What You're Great At

• Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locations
• Maintains the landscaping of the resort
• Maintains lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation to include trimming, fertilizing, etc.
• Operates and maintains hand tools efficiently
• Keeps grounds free from trash, litter, debris
• Empties all trash receptacles
• Conducts basic irrigation audits and preforms basic irrigation repairs
• Removes snow utilizing shovel or snowblower
• Assists with any maintenance task as needed
• All other duties as requested
