Job summary

LA Posada At Park Ctr in Green Valley, AZ is seeking a groundskeeper to maintain the landscape using manual or powered tools. You will perform tasks including mowing, trimming, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, installing irrigation and landscaping materials to keep the campus pristine.

Responsibilities include operating mowers, tractors, chain saws, pruning saws, and hand tools; pruning trees and shrubs; keeping areas clean and well-maintained while following planned designs and

• Experience maintaining lawns and gardens.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment.
• Willingness to follow landscaping plans.

Responsibilities

• Mow and edge lawns with powered equipment.
• Water, fertilize, prune, and mulch plants.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems and tools.
• Repair fences and benches and perform basic maintenance.
• Gather litter and keep campus outdoor areas clean.

Maintain the landscape and grounds of the property utilizing manual or powered tools and equipment. Workers are typically responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to planting grass, mowing, trimming, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, installing sprinkler systems, and landscaping materials.

• Operate powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, chain-saws, electric clippers, blowers, and pruning saws.
• Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and edgers.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and axes.
• Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws.
• Gather and remove litter from campus outdoor areas.
• Maintain and repair tools and equipment such as fences and benches, using hand and power tools.
• Water lawns, trees, and plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans.
• Trim and pick flowers, and clean flower beds.
• Rake and dispose of leaves and other debris.
• Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers and foliage.
• Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, and shrubs, and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools.
• Decorate gardens with stones and plants.
• Use irrigation methods to adjust the amount of water consumption and to prevent waste.
• Install rock gardens, ponds, decks, drainage systems, irrigation systems, retaining walls, fences, and/or planters.
• Build forms, and mix and pour cement to form garden borders or sidewalks.
• Spread fertilizers onto grass, shrubs, and trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.
• Plan and cultivate lawns and gardens.
