Job summary

FAROUK SYSTEMS INC is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the facility grounds, including lawns, shrubs, fences and concrete areas. The role emphasizes safety, weather readiness and reliable routine maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in landscaping/lawn care, a High School diploma or equivalent, and experience using common power tools such as lawn mowers, weed cutters, hedge trimmers, edgers, leaf blowers, and leaf vacuums.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of landscaping/lawn care experience.
• Experience using power tools such as weed cutter, lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintains landscaping including lawns, shrubbery, planted areas, fences, concrete areas, etc.
• Landscapes new ground areas, repairs damaged ground areas, and/or replaces bushes, hedges, shrubs and trees.
• Inspects grounds and equipment daily to ensure safety and identify necessary repairs.
• Performs general maintenance work of the facilities and grounds.
• Cleans grounds and related areas.
• Inspect and perform light maintenance on landscaping maintenance equipment as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintains landscaping including lawns, shrubbery, planted areas, fences, concrete areas, etc.
• Landscapes new ground areas, repairs damaged ground areas, and/or replaces bushes, hedges, shrubs and trees.
• Inspects grounds and equipment daily to ensure safety and identify necessary repairs.
• Performs general maintenance work of the facilities and grounds.
• Cleans grounds and related areas.
• Inspect and perform light maintenance on landscaping maintenance equipment as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years of landscaping/lawn care experience.
• Experience using power tools such as weed cutter, lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower, etc.

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
• Must be able to withstand exposure to the elements -heat, cold, rain, wind, snow, etc.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to walk for long periods of time on different types of terrain.
• Must be able to bend, sit, squat, stand, crawl, walk and reach above shoulder.
