As a Groundskeeper, you will carry out our Mission of Love by assisting Landscape Gardeners with implementing work schedules and assignments. Tasks related to landscape maintenance may be assigned under the direction of the Landscape Gardener.

Responsibilities of the Groundskeeper include:

• Understanding proper use and handling of pesticides, including chemical mixtures, ratios, rates, and application processes
• Assisting Landscape Gardeners with daily and weekly maintenance activities
• Assessing and evaluating plant growth problems and reporting them to qualified personnel
• Maintaining the health, condition, visual impact, and accessibility of the landscape throughout all seasons
• Performing snow removal and storm damage cleanup on an emergency on-call basis
• Ensuring the cleanliness and care of the landscape maintenance facility
• Proper use and care of equipment such as mowers, hand tools, utility vehicles, trucks, and trailers

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid PA Driver's License
• Ability to obtain PA pesticide applicator's certification
• Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills
• Ability to operate utility vehicles, mowers, and trucks
• Ability to work independently
