Job summary

Princeton Management seeks a Groundskeeper to maintain the apartment complex outdoor areas, landscaping, and overall grounds in Detroit. You will trim hedges, water plants, and keep spaces free from debris to ensure an attractive property.

You’ll assist with planting and use/maintain equipment safely while coordinating with the maintenance team and communicating supply needs. Equal opportunity employer; training offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred.
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques and plant care.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trim hedges and water plants to maintain a visually appealing landscape.
• Keep outdoor spaces free from debris, litter, and safety hazards.
• Inspect outdoor areas regularly to identify maintenance needs (fences, walkways).
• Assist in planting flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the property’s beauty.
• Use and maintain groundskeeping equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely task completion.
• Maintain inventory of landscaping and maintenance supplies and communicate needs to management.
• Respond promptly to residents’ landscaping-related concerns or requests.

As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, attractiveness, and overall upkeep of our apartment complex's outdoor areas, landscaping, and grounds.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as trimming hedges, and watering plants to maintain a visually appealing landscape.
• Keep outdoor spaces free from debris, litter, and other safety hazards.
• Perform regular inspections of outdoor areas to identify and address maintenance needs, such as repairing fences, and walkways.
• Assist in planting flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of the property.

• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
• Maintain an inventory of landscaping and maintenance supplies and communicate needs to the management team.
• Respond promptly to any landscaping-related concerns or requests from residents.
