Job summary

Princeton Management in Detroit, MI is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the cleanliness and attractiveness of outdoor spaces across our apartment complex. You will trim hedges, plant flowers, inspect walkways, and ensure safety and curb appeal.

This role requires physical endurance, the ability to work in various weather conditions, and good teamwork. A valid driver's license may be required; training and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping/groundskeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques, equipment, and plant care.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as trimming hedges and watering plants to maintain a visually appealing landscape.
• Keep outdoor spaces free from debris, litter, and safety hazards.
• Perform regular inspections of outdoor areas to identify maintenance needs and address issues like fences or walkways.
• Assist in planting flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the property's beauty.
• Use and maintain groundskeeping equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
• Maintain an inventory of landscaping and maintenance supplies and communicate needs to management.
• Respond promptly to landscaping-related concerns or requests from residents.
