Job summary

Princeton Management in Warren, MI is seeking a groundskeeper to maintain the apartment complex's outdoor areas, landscaping, and common spaces to a high standard. You will trim hedges, water plants, repair fences and walkways, plant flowers and trees, and operate groundskeeping equipment with safety and care.

You will collaborate with the maintenance team to complete tasks and keep residents' grounds clean and inviting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred.
• Knowledge of planting, equipment use, and plant care.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive in maintaining outdoor spaces.
• Good communication and ability to work independently or in a team.
• A valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and trim hedges, and water plants to keep the landscape attractive.
• Keep outdoor spaces free from debris, litter, and safety hazards.
• Inspect outdoor areas to identify maintenance needs (fences, walkways).

As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, attractiveness, and overall upkeep of our apartment complex's outdoor areas, landscaping, and grounds.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as trimming hedges, and watering plants to maintain a visually appealing landscape.
• Keep outdoor spaces free from debris, litter, and other safety hazards.
• Perform regular inspections of outdoor areas to identify and address maintenance needs, such as repairing fences, and walkways.
• Assist in planting flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of the property.
• Use and maintain groundskeeping equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
• Maintain an inventory of landscaping and maintenance supplies and communicate needs to the management team.
• Respond promptly to any landscaping-related concerns or requests from residents.
