Job Overview:

The Groundskeeper is responsible for the overall upkeep of the property's exterior landscape and common areas. Duties include cleaning driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, exterior hallways, and other public areas; maintaining flowerbeds, plants, and grass; snow removal; and routine pool maintenance.

The Groundskeeper's responsibilities encompass maintaining the property's exterior landscape and common areas, including cleaning, landscaping, snow removal, and pool upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily grounds upkeep and ensure all common areas, office spaces, and amenities are neat and litter-free.
• Mow, trim, and edge lawns and flowerbeds with appropriate tools.
• Prune shrubs and trees, and shape plants for growth and aesthetics.
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides as needed.
• Rake leaves and dispose of yard waste.
• Collect and sanitize trash from interior and exterior areas.
• Shovel snow and spread salt to prevent ice buildup.
• Plant and water new landscaping elements.
• Remove trash from vacant units and maintain storage areas.
• Perform minor repairs and painting on fences, walls, and exteriors.
• Assist with pool cleaning and maintenance.
• Clear drainage ditches and culverts.
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment, including tractors and snow removal tools.
• Sharpen tools and perform minor equipment repairs.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and special events.
