Job summary

UG2 is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain a one-story shopping center property in a clean and welcoming condition for tenants and visitors. The role emphasizes safety and efficient, weather-ready work across parking lots, sidewalks, and landscaped areas.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, prior groundskeeping or related experience, and the ability to operate or learn golf carts, street sweepers, and pressure washers while delivering courteous service to customers

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Previous groundskeeping, janitorial, landscaping, or property maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate golf carts, street sweepers, and pressure washers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to a clean environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.

Responsibilities

• Empty and replace trash can liners throughout the property.
• Pick up litter and debris across parking lots, sidewalks, landscaped areas, and common spaces.
• Operate a golf cart to patrol and maintain the property efficiently.
• Operate a street sweeper to maintain clean roadways and parking areas.
• Use pressure washers to clean sidewalks, curbs, storefront areas, and other exterior surfaces.
• Monitor the property for cleanliness, safety hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Assist with seasonal and weather-related cleanup, including rain, snow, or storm debris removal as needed.
• Maintain equipment and tools in safe working condition.
• Follow all company safety procedures and property regulations.
• Provide professional and courteous interaction with tenants, customers, and team members.
