Job summary

UG2 seeks a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform duties in buildings and related areas under supervision. The role emphasizes quality customer service and learning proper cleaning techniques.

The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, ability to follow established cleaning procedures, experience with restrooms, offices, and common areas, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A valid driver’s license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of related customer service and/or facility services experience.
• Valid Driver's License is a plus.
• Floor care experience is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
• Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered.
• Cleaning windowsills and windows.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
• Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
• Wearing of proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
• Maintain vending closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.

The Janitorial Cleaner, under the direction of the Janitorial Supervisor or Manager, is responsible for performing janitorial duties for buildings and related areas. Quality customer service skills are required. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our janitorial team. The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and follow established cleaning procedures
• Experience with restroom, office, and common-area cleaning
• Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
