Job summary

Sinatra and Company is seeking a dedicated Maintenance/Property Care Associate in Buffalo, NY. This full-time role covers daily cleaning of property, grounds, mailrooms, and common areas, plus snow removal and basic repairs.

You’ll assist with make-readies, light painting, and appliance hookups, working as part of a service-focused team. Applicants should be comfortable lifting, working outdoors in varied weather, and hold a valid driver’s license.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, lift heavy items.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Keep property, grounds, and common areas clean and safe.
• Snow removal and maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Replace light bulbs, window screens, and assist with make-readies.
• Inspect and maintain mailrooms, pool area, and air vents.
• Assist supervisors and service staff as needed.

Salary Range: $18.00 To $19.00 Hourly

About the Position

• Keep property, management office, and landscaping clean by inspecting property each morning and picking up any trash, debris or feces littering the grounds. This includes the perimeter of the property which can include public property in front of the community.
• Snow removal.
• Keep mailrooms clean--pick up trash, sweep floors, remove dated notices from bulletin boards, etc.
• Replace light bulbs in common areas and breezeways as needed.
• Replace all first-floor window screens upon request.
• Assist with apartment make-readies as requested--trash vacant units, caulk, check appliances and smoke detector, replace parts, etc.
• Clean air conditioning vents and replace filter in all vacant apartments.
• Install, move and hook up appliances.
• Replace air filters as scheduled for all occupied apartments.
• Clean pool area--hose down area, pick up trash, straighten chairs, etc.
• Perform light painting duties as directed.
• Assist the Business Manager, Assistant Manager, Service Technician, or Assistant Service Technician as requested.
