A leading university in Maine is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain its beautiful campus. The role involves operating heavy equipment, maintaining athletic fields, and performing seasonal grounds work. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of grounds maintenance and mechanical skills. The Groundskeeper maintains University grounds and performs some specialized grounds maintenance functions, such as certain heavy equipment operations, maintenance of athletics fields, and repair and rebuilding of tools and equipment on our Biddeford campus.
Pay: $20.00 per hour (equivalent to $41,600 annually).
Total Compensation: $56,621 to $70,413 annually, based on selected medical and dental plans.
Schedule: Primarily Monday through Friday, first shift. Must be available for occasional evenings and weekends, especially during winter weather storms and athletic events.
