Job summary

Eau Claire Golf and Country Club in Altoona, Wisconsin, is seeking a seasonal, part-time Groundskeeper to join our golf operations team.

You will perform landscape maintenance, rake sand bunkers, operate small machinery, and assist with course setup, with a safety‑first mindset and dependable attendance. Prior experience of one month is acceptable, a valid driver’s license is required, and we value learners who contribute to a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Eau Claire Golf and Country Club, located in Altoona, WI, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a seasonal part-time Groundskeeper. We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

General Purpose:

Performs a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction. Performs semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work and related tasks as required. This is a seasonal position with an expected duration of six months or less.

Compensation:

$14.00 per hour
