Job summary

Charlestown by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Grounds Worker II to maintain all exterior areas of the community, ensuring a beautiful and safe environment for residents. You will support lawn care, trees, gardens and related tasks to uphold the community’s high standards.

The role requires 3+ years of landscaping experience, a valid driver’s license if operating community vehicles, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Non-standard schedules and on-call shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of landscaping or grounds experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license if operating community vehicles.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• May be required to work a non-standard schedule and on-call.
• May be required to attend a Horticulture program.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of all lawns, trees, gardens and shrubbery.
• Upkeep of exterior areas; trash removal, weeding, pet stations, dog runs, fencing, etc.
• Installation and maintenance of exterior signs.
• Assistance to residents with gardening.
• Assistance in snow removal of the community.
• Assistance in maintenance of all associated equipment.
• Identification of horticultural problems and treatment recommendations.

Join our team as a Grounds Worker II, where you will help maintain all exterior areas of the community, ensuring a beautiful and safe environment for our residents.

How you will make an impact

• Maintenance of all lawns, trees, gardens and shrubbery
