Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Groundsman II to support ground operations, clean-up, wash-out, painting, greasing, and basic maintenance around the plant. You will help keep equipment and conveyors running smoothly while following health, safety and environmental policies.

We value dependability, the ability to work in varied weather, and teamwork. Shift work, overtime, and compliance with PPE are required as part of this role.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience working in varying weather elements preferred.
• Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor servicing and maintenance on plant equipment as needed.
• Inspect conveyors and processing plant; replace screens and guards.
• Cleaning and lubricating equipment.
• Shoveling aggregate and wash out.
• Perform daily pre- and post-inspections with documentation per safety policies.
• Safely operate heavy equipment such as bob cat, skid steer, and haul trucks.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees.
