Job summary

Towne Properties is seeking a Grounds Technician to maintain the community’s outdoor spaces in Columbus, OH. Duties include trash pickup, light power washing, general grounds care, and assisting with repairs. You will care for landscaping, assist residents, and support pool areas.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of groundskeeping or property maintenance experience, strong customer service, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Some evenings or emergencies may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in groundskeeping or property maintenance.
• Landscaping experience (planting, fertilizing, watering trees, grass, flowers, shrubs).
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Background and drug screening may be required if offered the role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property appearance with trash pickup, power washing, light grounds care, snow removal assistance, and minor repairs (painting, pool area upkeep, furniture removal).
• Care for landscaping by planting, fertilizing, and watering trees, flowers, and shrubs.
• Oversee pet area upkeep and restock supplies at dog stations.
• Assist residents with outdoor concerns and report maintenance issues.
• Complete light to moderate work orders and maintain pool chemical levels.
• After-hours only required as needed for emergencies.
