Job summary

Idlewild and Soak Zone is seeking a Grounds Team Member to support the park’s landscaping and outdoor upkeep. You’ll assist with plantings, mowing, pruning, and maintaining waterways, ponds, and decorative features, while helping with park sanitation and midways safety.

The role is outdoor, seasonal, and requires 18+ years of age with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Previous landscaping experience is welcome but not required, and transportation to the park is

Qualifications

• No education requirements for this position
• Previous landscaping experience preferred but not required
• Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with state laws
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist with general repair and maintenance of park grounds, including landscaping and midway clean up
• Perform a wide variety of landscaping functions (watering, weed whacking, pruning, mowing)
• Assist with trash removal, snow removal, and sanitation programs
• Monitor outdoor spaces for safety hazards and stock landscaping supplies
• Assist in site preparation, plantings, mulch application, and loading/unloading materials
