This position oversees campus grounds to ensure their cleanliness, safety, and beauty, caring for lawns, parking lots, roadways, sidewalks, athletic fields, flowerbeds, shrubs, and trees.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of grounds maintenance/turf management experience
• Possess or be able to obtain Illinois Pesticide Operator's License within the first year
• Valid Illinois driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in landscape/turf management
• Equipment maintenance and repair skills
• Irrigation maintenance experience
• Snow removal experience
• CDL Class C driver’s license

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs., stand for long periods, perform overhead work, operate power equipment, climb ladders, and withstand weather conditions.

Salary

Starting at no less than $37,734 annually with benefits.
