Job summary

City of Treasure Island is seeking a Grounds Maintenance II to care for parks, landscaping, and recreation facilities. The role involves operating mowers, edgers, and irrigation components while performing routine maintenance tasks and engaging with residents and visitors as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in care and maintenance of parks/landscape.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to operate lawn and maintenance equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Clean, repair, and maintain grounds, play areas, and facilities.
• Mow, trim, weed, and assist with irrigation maintenance.
• Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety guidelines.
• Perform manual maintenance of grounds and park amenities.
• Interact with residents and visitors as needed.
