Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds of industrial, commercial or public property such as buildings, camp and picnic grounds, parks, playgrounds, greenhouses and athletic fields.
• Repair structures and equipment, performing mowing, hedging, edging and trimming with appropriate tools and methods.
• Perform snow and ice control on walk areas to ensure safety around government buildings and parking areas.
• Plant grass, flowers, and shrubs; water lawns during dry periods; maintain fences, gates, benches and outbuildings.
• Remove unwanted trees and apply mulch to plants; assist fertilizing lawns and shrubs.
• Assist in repair of roads, walks, buildings and equipment; clean stations and parking lots as needed.
• Follow OSHA and company safety rules; wear required personal protective equipment.
• Demonstrate teamwork and customer-focused service; contribute to continuous improvement for internal and external customers.
• Adhere to OPSEC and GFP management procedures; ensure safety and health program compliance.
• Maintain a site-specific Accident Prevention Plan per EM 385-1-1; perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor.
