Job summary

AJANTA CONSULTING, LLC in Mississippi Lakes, MS seeks a Laborer, Grounds Maintenance to maintain industrial and public grounds, repair structures and equipment, and support safety programs. Duties include mowing, hedge trimming, edging, and basic landscaping tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver license OR commercially licensed (CDL).
• Minimum three (3) years prior experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of hand tools to spread dirt, dig holes, and maintain grounds.
• Lift and/or carry heavy objects up to 80 pounds.
• Assist higher skilled workers by carrying materials and performing heavy manual labor.
• Use tools like picks, shovels, rakes, and brooms.
• Clean equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Maintain and repair fencing to include chain link and barbed wire.
• Follow safety plans and wear protective gear.
• Operate equipment per EM 385-1-1.
• Other duties as assigned.
