Job summary

Maverick Transportation in North Little Rock, AR is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Technician. You will maintain campus grounds, ensuring appearance and function in line with company and regulatory standards.

The role covers mowing, shrub trimming, mulching, weed control, planting and events prep, with occasional janitorial and building maintenance tasks. Strong level of physical effort and ability to lift up to 100 pounds may be required.

Qualifications

• Prefer Highschool or GED plus two years’ experience in grounds maintenance.
• Including experience with small engines and lawn equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain campus grounds: mowing, trimming, mulching, flower bed upkeep.
• Assist with minor janitorial, power washing and building maintenance.
• Plant and maintain trees, shrubs and flowers; prepare for events.
• Report deficiencies to Facilities Maintenance Supervisor and suggest process improvements.
