Job summary

Travelers Oasis in Eden, Idaho is seeking a Groundskeeper to perform outdoor maintenance and keep the property, fuel islands, and surrounding areas clean and safe for customers.

The position requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and reliable communication with staff. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and perform tasks such as snow removal, equipment checks, and daily water readings and reports.

Qualifications

• Position requires extensive walking and some stair climbing.
• Must be able to stand and exert mobility for periods of up to four hours in length.
• Employee will be required to lift up to 75 pounds and carry 10 to 20 feet.
• Must be able to stoop and bend.
• Subject to water on islands and cleaning chemical.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent and regular cleaning of the grounds outside the building. The person in this position will maintain the cleanliness of the building, fuel islands and park.
• Fuel Island garbages will need emptied multiple times per shift. Fuel pumps need to be kept clean on the gas and diesel islands at all times.
• Pressure wash the fuel islands with the Hotsy when weather permits. The Grounds Keeper shall wash both islands on a regular basis to keep the concrete maintained and clean.
• Clean and maintain the well houses, generators, and storage sheds.
• Provide snow removal when necessary.
• Check backup generators and maintain fuel levels.
• Maintain pickups and post water readings daily.
