Job summary

Metro West Housing Solutions in Denver seeks a Groundskeeper to maintain outdoor spaces at our award-winning properties. You will perform daily grounds maintenance and assist with small repairs to keep our grounds welcoming for residents.

This role requires reliable attendance, the ability to work independently or with a team, and occasional travel between properties, contributing to a high standard of service for the community we serve.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or ability to read labels and instructions.
• 1 year of general work experience; reliability and regular attendance preferred.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Must be able to transport between properties.

Responsibilities

• Reports all maintenance repairs needed to supervisor.
• Sweeps and cleans parking lot daily.
• Waters flower planters daily (seasonal).
• Picks up trash from grounds daily.
• Uses hose to clean front entry walks on schedule.
• Changes light bulbs in hallways and common areas as needed.
• Completes minor work orders for residents and/or management.
• Assists other Building Maintenance team members, including moving/installing furniture.
• Maintains courteous attitude with residents.
• Attends training as required.
• Regular and consistent attendance is required.
• Transport between locations on a daily basis may be needed.
