Job summary

Biloxi Housing Authority is seeking a maintenance/janitorial associate to support the upkeep of BHA buildings and grounds. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or trade or vocational school certification and a minimum of one (1) year of related experience in a maintenance or grounds keeping role.
• Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience providing required knowledge and abilities may be considered sufficient.

Responsibilities

• Maintain BHA grounds, parking areas, sidewalks, and fences; remove debris and dispose of trash.
• Clean roofs, gutters, ditches, and repair or install basic outdoor structures.
• Perform lawn care: mowing, trimming hedges, watering plants, raking.
• Pressure wash buildings, sidewalks, drives, and other areas.
• Remove algae and mildew from buildings and structures.
• Maintain playground areas by raking mulch and removing debris.
• Address maintenance issues and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Complete work orders with detailed descriptions and photos.
