Beaufort County Council is seeking a Grounds Maintenance worker to perform routine grounds care for county parks, facilities and grounds. Responsibilities include cutting grass with hand tools or power equipment, trimming trees and shrubs, unloading work trucks, setting up for events, and ensuring the work site is clean and organized.
Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED with up to one month of related experience. A valid South Carolina driver’s license is required.
The purpose of this position is to perform routine grounds maintenance for County parks, facilities and grounds.

All applicants tentatively selected for a position with Beaufort County Council will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for the illegal use of drugs and to a background check prior to appointment. Employment is contingent upon clearing both the drug screening and background investigation.
