Job summary

Beaufort County is seeking a grounds maintenance worker to perform routine maintenance for county parks, facilities and grounds. The role involves cutting grass, trimming trees and shrubs, and assisting with event setup and site preparations.

Responsibilities include cleaning and restocking facilities, maintaining safety policies, and participating in general repairs and park cleanliness activities. A valid driver’s license is required and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent.
• Requires a short demonstration up to and including one month of related experience.
