Job summary

Two dependable Grounds Maintenance Workers are sought to assist with maintaining city right-of-ways, parking lots, government buildings, and other city properties. This role involves operating light landscaping equipment and performing general outdoor maintenance duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Some landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience operating light equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Mow street right-of-ways and city properties.
• Maintain parking lots, government buildings, and landscaped areas.
• Operate light equipment including: Riding mower, Small tractor, Weed eater, Blower.
• Perform general grounds and maintenance duties as assigned.
• Assist with scheduled maintenance of equipment.
