The position is full-time, with a 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM schedule and an hourly wage of $17.75. Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, 6+ months of related experience, and knowledge of landscaping tools.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid driver’s license.
• 6+ months of experience performing similar work.
• Basic knowledge of and skilled in using various landscaping hand and power tools.
• Reading and comprehension skills; analyze, evaluate situations and develop alternatives for conflict resolution.
• Equivalent combination of education, experience and/or military training.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• For positions that require driving, must maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage, and be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business.

Responsibilities

• Cut grass to specific requirements using a push mower.
• Remove grass clippings, trash, and debris from work site, and dispose of trash at collection point.
• Use grass/weed trimmer in areas not accessible to riding or push mowers; slopes, canals, ditches, rough terrain.
• Operate backpack blower to clear surfaced areas.
• Trim hedges and shrubs and edge sidewalks, curbs, parking lots, and other surfaced areas.
• Remove vines from fences and maintain fence lines cleared of new growth.
