Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is hiring a Grounds Maintenance worker to support our facilities and habitat stewardship. You will cut grass, edge walkways, trim hedges, and keep outdoor areas safe and presentable while following safety guidelines.

The role requires at least 6 months of similar work experience, basic knowledge of tools, and the ability to lift and perform physical tasks. You will interact with customers and coworkers, demonstrate professionalism, and contribute to our mission of fighting

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience performing similar work.
• Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance tools & equipment.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• For positions that require driving, must maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Cut grass to specific requirements using a push mower.
• Remove grass clippings, trash, and debris from work site; dispose of trash properly.
• Operate grass/weed trimmer in areas not accessible by mowing equipment.
• Clean tools, work areas, and vehicles; perform basic maintenance following manufacturer directions.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and responding to questions in a positive, professional manner.
