Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a hands-on Supervisor to oversee Grounds and Laborer teams at a location, ensuring safety, upkeep, and professional maintenance for families and visitors. The role requires leadership to motivate a team and coordinate with Sales and Administration on location needs.

You will manage landscape and facility maintenance, operate backhoes and mowing equipment, and support cemetery-related installations, with a focus on service quality and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of grounds maintenance supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of mechanical/building maintenance experience.
• Cemetery work experience is preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train maintenance employees.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery including backhoe and mowing/trimming equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Availability to work holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety of all patrons, visitors and employees of a location.
• Maintains and improves Everstory properties, including buildings, fixtures and equipment.
• Manages maintenance team members across properties and fixtures.
• Provides team training and support as needed.
• Enforces company policies and coaches staff.
• Coordinates with Sales and Administration to discuss location needs.
• Performs landscape maintenance duties (weed-whacking, mowing).
• Handles day-to-day general maintenance tasks.
• Operates machinery safely and effectively.
• Installs cemetery vaults, headstones, and memorials as needed.
