Job summary

Rotolo Consultants, Inc. (RCI) is seeking a Supervisor to direct Groundskeeping Laborers and perform driving duties to support field operations in the Tampa area. You will ensure projects meet contract specs, timelines, and quality standards while guiding the crew and transporting crews, equipment, and materials between job sites.

Client communication is handled by management. Requirements include 2+ years in landscaping or field operations, supervisory experience preferred, and a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in landscaping, field operations, or project coordination.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to safely operate company vehicles.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with a team.
• Competency with scheduling/tracking software or basic computer applications.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of Groundskeeping Laborers across multiple projects.
• Coordinate daily work schedules, task assignments, and allocation of crews, equipment, and materials to meet goals.
• Prioritize and assign resources to meet operational demands.
• Monitor project progress and quality; escalate issues to the Area Manager.
• Drive to and from job sites, transporting crews, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct site inspections and submit reports with recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies for all team members and while driving.
• Mentor coordinators and foster teamwork and professional development.
• Exercise authority to recommend hiring, promotion, disciplinary action, and termination.
• Maintain shared project documentation like timesheets and logs.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Production or Area Manager.
