Job summary

ATI, Inc. in Arlington, VA, is seeking a hands-on Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to oversee landscaping, earthworks, ponds, roads, perimeter trail, fencing, gates, and parking areas.

Duties include turf and lawn care, leaf removal, fertilization, irrigation, snow removal, and de-icing, with work in secure environments supporting mission-critical operations. The role requires directing staff and subcontractors, enforcing safety and environmental plans, maintaining inventories, and liaising with

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain clearance.
• Candidate must be able to work independently in a secure or sensitive environment.
• Minimum 5 years of landscaping/grounds maintenance experience with at least 3 years in a supervisor role.
• High school, vocational, or trade school diploma or equivalent.
• Some computer proficiency and good English reading/writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage, and schedule all grounds maintenance staff and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with Safety Plans and Environmental Compliance Plan.
• Oversee grounds supply inventory.
• Interface with clients verbally and in writing.
• Reduce environmental impacts through sound practices and products.
• Provide and document quality control inspections.
