Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Grounds Keeper to maintain community grounds, buildings, and landscaping to enhance curb appeal. You will mow, trim, plant, and perform basic repairs while following OSHA safety standards and using PPE as required.

Responsibilities include trash pickup, leaf raking, snow removal when needed, and assisting with notices and meter reads as directed by the community manager. A valid in-state driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Valid in-state driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry software.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community assets including grounds, buildings, equipment, pools, etc.
• Mow lawns and trim edges around walks, flower beds, etc.
• Landscaping, including mowing, trimming, planting flowers, maintaining trees.
• Perform minor repairs on groundskeeping equipment.
• Follow OSHA standards and maintain PPE.
• Respond to emergency calls as directed by management.
• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and residents.
• Assist with maintenance tasks and meter reads as directed by the community manager.
• Maintain safe winter road conditions through snow removal and de-icing when applicable.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
