The City of Burlington is hiring for a park maintenance helper to pick up litter throughout the park system and perform routine maintenance tasks. The role includes cleaning restrooms, maintaining athletic fields, graffiti removal, and assisting with parks operations.
Requirements include a valid driver's license and the ability to lift 50 lbs. The position is on-site in Burlington, VT with a pay grade of $20.00 hourly and a public service-focused work environment.
This position is mainly responsible for picking up litter in the parks on foot. A variety of maintenance tasks will be incorporated in the field including but not limited to cleaning bathrooms, addressing vandalism, and managing vegetation on a routine basis.
