City of Burlington is seeking a skilled worker to assist in maintaining and repairing city streets, sidewalks, and related infrastructure. The role involves outdoor, hands-on tasks across multiple municipal systems, including sewers and storm drainage, with a focus on safety and customer service.
Responsibilities include patching, resurfacing, equipment operation, snow removal, and data collection using GPS tools. Valid driver’s license and ability to work in all weather are required.
This position is responsible for assisting in maintaining, installing and repairing safe and clean City streets and sidewalks. This position also performs construction, maintenance and repair work on City streets, grounds, sidewalks, buildings, sewers and storm collection and drainage systems. This position requires the ability to work days up to 40 hours/week.
