Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative for Imphal Barracks, York. The role is permanent full-time with an hourly rate of 12.71 and typical hours Monday to Friday 07:00–15:30.

Responsibilities include grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, bed maintenance, and spraying, with a focus on outdoor work and safety. DBS/BPSS checks are required prior to start. PA1/PA6 licenses are desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous Grounds Maintenance experience is required.
• A full manual valid UK driving license is essential.
• Willing to undertake clear DBS and BPSS checks prior to start.
• PA1 and PA6 licenses are desirable.
• Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, and flower bed maintenance.
• Spraying and other grounds maintenance tasks as required.
• Keep grounds in pristine condition for our client at Imphal Barracks.

About the role
Grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, spraying, and more - join us as a Grounds Maintenance Operative and you'll be doing them all. As part of our team at Imphal Barracks, you will keep grounds in wonderful condition for our client.
